Call for abstracts for EMA2024 Symposium

Researchers interested in participating in the EMA2024 Symposium are invited to submit an abstract before registering for the event.

Please submit your abstract by 31 May 2024 using the submission link. Following abstract submission, you will receive the registration link via email from photosynthesis-turku2024@utu.fi within five working days.

EMA2024 symposium participants are expected to be experts in relevant research fields, and successful registration requires an accepted abstract and payment of the participation fee.

We have already chosen all posters to be presented in the symposium, but abstract is required for the registration nevertheless. Some posters will be chosen to be presented as flash talks in the event. We will contact the chosen speakers separately during summer 2024.

If you have already registered for the EMA2024 symposium as an invited guest, you will be contacted later regarding your abstract submission.

Please note that we have limited seats available, and registration will close once capacity is reached.

The abstract needs to

  • be maximum one page in length, A4 or letter, .docx or equivalent
  • be written with 12 points text, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, standard margins
  • be named as follows: Surname_Firstname.docx
  • contain title, names of the authors with presenter underlined, affiliations
  • contain only results suitable for inclusion in a congress handout
